Family Love

Have you ever worked in a place where you suddenly just get slammed with customers, or phone calls, and for like an hour, you're running around like a chicken with its head cut off feeling like its never going to end? I remember this sort of thing happening when I worked as a waitress. As I was serving what seemed like hundreds of customers at the same time, I would be praying it would all be over soon. But as I would be cleaning up the empty quiet restaurant at the end of the shift, after all the people had left, I not only felt relief, but I felt accomplished. I just survived that, and only pissed off a couple people in the process (I am a terrible waitress) Thats how I feel when I take family pictures. It's a little chaotic, a lot more pressure, and all in all a lot more work. But when it's done, and I get a chance to see the final product, I feel accomplished, I am  proud of my work and so are the customers!

Family pictures are important because its not something most people do on a regualr basis, sometimes families only do it a couple times in their lives! With this family there are the grandparents, and their 3 grandchildren who live in Louisiana 10 months of the year. They spend the summer here in Midland with Grandma and PawPaw. It was my pleasure to take their pictures, even if families aren't my favorite thing to do!

they thought this picture was going to turn out terrible, but she ended up loving it!

Flower Power Part Deuce.

I took some more pictures of flowers recently, which is one of my favorite things to do! I haven't got out too much to do much flower shots, but the ones I have are good enough to show!
